We are happy to welcome our first international visitor after two years, Marina Gontijo from TU Graz, Austria. She will spend three months with us doing research on microstructure characterisation of HSLA steels. On December 8, a semi-rainy day, the team enjoyed a backyard BBQ followed by ping pong, pool billiard and charade comps to celebrate the end of a weird, difficult but never-the-less very successful year.
